Recovery is a journey that may include challenging moments, and we believe that comprehensive safety planning and resource accessibility are fundamental components of effective peer support services.
We recognize that mental health crises, substance abuse emergencies, and other urgent situations require immediate intervention from qualified clinical professionals and emergency responders. Our role is to support and encourage individuals in their recovery journey through peer coaching, while ensuring they have direct access to qualified clinical professionals and emergency services when crisis situations arise.

How to Know You're in Crisis
Seek immediate help if you're experiencing any of these situations:
- • Thoughts of harming yourself or others - Any suicidal thoughts or plans to hurt yourself or someone else
- • Overwhelming emotional distress - Feeling unable to cope with intense depression, anxiety, or panic
- • Substance use emergency - Overdose risk, severe withdrawal, or using despite serious consequences
- • Experiencing abuse - Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse requiring immediate safety
- • Severe mental health symptoms - Hallucinations, delusions, or feeling disconnected from reality
